Shadow Minister for the Constitution Darren Millar MS, said:
“Once again, Labour’s priorities are wrong.
“The Welsh Government should be focused on tackling NHS waiting lists, helping young people to catch up with their months of lost education, and the economic recovery; not tinkering around with the voting system.
“The people of Wales already have the chance to early and from home via the use of a postal vote, we don't need major changes to a system that already serves our democracy well.
"It's up to candidates and political parties to motivate and persuade people to turn out to vote in elections.
"Some may see this a desperate attempt by Labour Ministers to gerrymander the voting system."
