Responding to Mark Drakeford's comments at this lunchtime's press conference, Welsh Conservative economy spokesperson, Russell George said:
"Sadly, coronavirus has exposed the problems in Wales' economy and public services that have been allowed to fester under 22 years of Labour rule in Cardiff Bay.
"With Mark Drakeford's declaration that the pandemic is now over, it's clear that our economic recovery will now take centre stage.
"Welsh Labour's record shows they've run out of steam and have no plan to fix Wales' deep-rooted problems, particularly when it comes to the economy and jobs.
"Only the Conservatives have a plan to build a stronger economy with more jobs, better infrastructure and higher wages."
