Welsh Conservatives react to Welsh performance in Higher Education rankings

Commenting, Shadow Minister for Education, Laura Anne Jones MS, said:

“It’s disappointing to see five of the eight Universities in Wales falling down the latest university league tables.

“We need to end the brain drain in Wales and universities are fundamental to that. By having a highly skilled workforce we can attract more businesses to Wales, creating well paid jobs and boosting the Welsh economy for everyone.

“Labour Ministers need to work with institutions to boost research and innovations ensuring that our universities can offer top quality education to students from inside and outside Wales.”
