WELSH CONSERVATIVES CONGRATULATE WELSH ATHLETES AT THE OLYMPICS IN PARIS

Responding to the closing of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, Andrew RT Davies MS, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives, said:

“The Welsh Conservatives would like to congratulate all of our Team GB athletes.

“With a record 33 athletes representing Wales at the Olympics in Paris and a record medal haul, you have all done Wales and Great Britain proud.”

Also commenting, Tom Giffard MS, Shadow Minister for Culture, Education and Sport, said:

“The Olympics in Paris have highlighted how impressive our Welsh athletes are and it's exciting to see such an array of talent emerging and succeeding in world sport.

“Congratulations to all of our Welsh athletes and to all of Team GB for a fantastic medal haul.”
