
The Leader of the Welsh Conservatives, Darren Millar MS, will participate in a series of events this week to mark the 80th Anniversary of VE Day and pay tribute to those who secured the freedoms we enjoy today.
- This evening, Mr. Millar will attend a VE Day Thanksgiving Service at Llandaff Cathedral, joining local communities in reflection and remembrance.
- The commemorations will continue Thursday morning when he attends the UK national VE Day service at Westminster Abbey in London, a solemn occasion to honour the sacrifices made during World War II.
- Later that morning, Mr. Millar will be sponsoring a VE Day commemoration event in the Senedd, highlighting the enduring importance of this historic day and the gratitude owed to veterans and their families.
