On behalf of the Welsh Conservatives, this Sunday, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives Darren Millar, will be attending the National Service of Remembrance for Wales in Cardiff to pay his respects.
Commenting, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives Darren Millar MS, said:
“On remembrance Sunday we remember the courageous men and women who have served and sacrificed for our country, defended our freedoms and kept us safe.
“This year’s service is especially poignant as we mark the 80th anniversaries of VE Day and VJ Day and the 85th anniversary of Dunkirk.
“We must never forget the bravery of our armed forces and the wartime generation, many of whom paid the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we continue to enjoy. Without their courage and commitment, Wales, Britain, Europe, and the wider world would look very different today.”
