Andrew RT Davies

Responding to by-election victories in Prestatyn North and Monmouth Town, amidst a litany of Labour Welsh Government broken promises and missed targets, Andrew RT Davies MS, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives said:

“The events of last night should act as a wakeup call for the Labour Welsh Government after 26 years of their broken promises and failure to deliver.

“People the length and breadth of Wales are increasingly turning to hardworking Welsh Conservative local champions who are winning in council seats formerly held by Labour in both North and South Wales. Welsh people are also clearly dreading Rachel Reeves and Keir Starmer’s predictably punishing Halloween budget.

“Labour ministers should get on with the job of turning around the longest waiting lists in the whole UK after seven consecutive record-breaking months, rising unemployment and falling education standards, all of which are still worsening on Labour’s watch.”
