Sam Rowlands MS is proud to champion his Outdoor Education Bill as it is introduced to the Senedd tomorrow.
Commenting, Welsh Conservative Shadow Local Government Minister, Sam Rowlands MS said:
“My aspiration is for Wales to be at the forefront of outdoor education delivery. We should be guaranteeing that all children in Wales, at least once during their schooling, be given access to an outdoor education residential visit, regardless of their local authority or their family income.
“Through this bill, we will bring the substantial benefits of outdoor education to pupils across Wales, from improved physical and mental health to developing a greater understanding of the natural world.”
“This bill will end the postcode lottery that has denied so many young people the opportunity to enjoy and benefit from such a visit.”
