Commenting on the announcement that Wales’ adult social care sector will receive £22.7 million, the Shadow Minister for Health, Andrew RT Davies MS, said:
“Our social care sector has played an absolutely key role both before and during the COVID-19 pandemic in providing assistance to the most vulnerable in communities in Wales.
“I would like to express my sincere thanks to those in the sector for going above and beyond in providing high-levels of care.
“This latest funding is long overdue, and I welcome any support package that will enable the sector to continue in its delivery of important services.”
