Responding to the Plaid Cymru Welsh Government’s first Supplementary Budget, Sam Rowlands MS, Shadow Minister for Finance, said:
"This budget has the wrong priorities, offering the same tired approach we saw under Labour despite Plaid’s promises of change.
"There is nothing here to support small businesses, cut taxes, or kickstart economic growth. Once again, our farmers have been overlooked, and not a single penny of the extra funding Wales received for Additional Learning Needs (ALN) has actually been allocated to ALN support here.
"Plaid Cymru cannot escape responsibility. Having propped up the very Labour budgets that left Wales with sluggish growth and struggling public services, this supplementary budget is a missed opportunity that fails our businesses, farmers, and children."
