Commenting on his exchange with the Labour Minister with responsibility for North Wales in the Welsh Parliament today, Welsh Conservative Shadow Minister for North Wales, Darren Millar MS said:
“With 15 of the 16 lined up road projects scrapped, Betsi Cadwaladr in and out of special measures and a tourism tax on the horizon, North Wales is being perpetually let down and left behind by the Labour establishment in Cardiff Bay.
“I challenged the Labour Minister to reveal her shopping list for North Wales, to explain where she would invest North Wales’ share of the £780 million in consequential funds from the UK Conservative Government. She flatly refused to do so – no answer, no plan.
“The Welsh Conservatives have a plan for North Wales, it involves upgrading our dilapidated transport infrastructure, improving educational outcomes, managing our NHS properly and bridging the North-South divide.”
