Commenting following the BBC debate between the Labour leadership candidates, Andrew RT Davies MS, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives said:
“It is clear from the debate tonight that both Labour candidates are offering more of the same, as they continue to focus on the wrong priorities.
“Both candidates have served in the Labour Welsh Government, propped up by Plaid, that brought us a barmy 20mph speed limit, their ‘Sustainable Farming Scheme’ and plans to create 36 more politicians, funded by cuts to our Welsh NHS and schools.
“The only alternative on offer in Wales, to deliver higher wages, support for our farmers, improved school standards and a fully resourced health service is the Welsh Conservatives.”
