The Welsh Conservatives have expressed concern following the collapse of Furniture manufacturer Westbridge.
Nearly 300 workers have lost their jobs at the furniture firm in Flintshire, following its collapse into administration.
Commenting, Welsh Conservative Spokesperson for Finance, Sam Rowlands, said:
“This is a devastating blow for workers and their families, and a stark warning about the state of the Welsh economy.
“After years of Labour and Plaid, businesses are under increasing pressure and jobs are being lost.
“The Welsh Conservatives will back businesses, cut taxes and fire up the economy to get Wales working and protect jobs.”
