Responding to the news that Cardiff Airport needs to improve its accessibility for passengers and is ranked among the worst for assistance services, Natasha Asghar MS, Shadow Transport Minister, said:

“Labour have been pumping hundreds of millions of Welsh taxpayers’ money into Cardiff Airport with another £200m planned, yet they cannot get the basics right.

“Everyone has the right to travel with dignity and it is clear that more needs to be done to make Cardiff Airport a more accessible and inclusive experience for all passengers.

“It remains the view of the Welsh Conservatives that Cardiff Airport should be run by the private sector rather than Government.”
