Commenting on the exchange with Trefnydd Lesley Griffiths at First Minister’s Questions, Welsh Conservative Leader Andrew RT Davies MS said:
“I asked whether or not the Labour Government here would follow the lead of the UK Conservative Government and ensure that building developers pledge to fix fire safety defects in their blocks.
“I was pleased to hear that in short, the answer was yes, but disappointed that despite my prompt, the Leader of the House refused to apologise as Michael Gove did for Government failures on cladding.
“It is up to us to come up with tangible solutions, like the Levelling Up Secretary has, to give some peace of mind to the people living with these concerns through no fault of their own.”
