The Shadow Minister for Rural Affairs – Andrew RT Davies MS – has welcomed the Welsh Government answering Welsh Conservative calls to reopen recycling centres to combat fly-tippers in Wales.
Recycling centres are scheduled to reopen from May 26.
He said: “In recent weeks I have been left speechless by shocking reports of utterly selfish individuals who are blighting the Welsh landscape with fly-tipped items.
“Last month Welsh Conservatives called on the Welsh Government to step up their efforts to counter fly-tippers by reopening waste facilities, with strict social distancing measures in place.
“I am pleased that the Welsh Government has finally seen sense and answered our calls.”
