Andrew RT Davies

Following FMQs, Andrew RT Davies MS, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives, said:

“Literacy must be a top priority for any government.

“Sadly, all of the warning lights on the dashboard are flashing, and it’s our children’s future at stake if we do not improve literacy in our schools.

“We need to see the return of rigorous international testing standards, and clear guidance for teachers, so children who need extra help can be given the support they need.”
